The investment objective of the American Real Estate Income Fund is to provide current income with the potential for capital appreciation. The Fund will pursue this investment objective by investing in a portfolio of income-oriented securities issued by real estate companies. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest at least 40% to 60% of its total assets in non-listed REITs and BDCs, with the remainder of the Fund's assets in listed REITs and various other types of real estate related securities.
